Note to Self:
Somehow, I need to make sure I can name my next story “The Cold Mile.” Alex and I came up with that today after he bought an iced coffee in roughly 30 degree weather.

Santa and the Easter Bunny.
I think I need to remove Texts from Last Night from my google reader feed. It might be slowly convincing me that love isn’t real.
Example:
(419): I made him tell me how he proposed to his wife before I’d bang him. I have a problem.
Other possibility: I am taking it too seriously. More likely, but still…

2010 River Rat Race!
Here are some pictures of the 2010 River Rat Race in Athol, MA. For a second year in a row, our two teams managed to come in dead last. It took some effort this go around, as there were a few teams that were blind drunk, fighting, and/or very bored that kept us paddling in circles to stay behind. We still finished triumphant, or defeated, whichever way you want to look at it. Many thanks to my...

Spring on the Northeast Coast
Boston continues to warm, with today as no exception. We are at the pivotal moment in weather here in New England, where it is just warm enough in the sun, and just a little too cold in the shade. This morning, on my ‘Monday’ (I know it is Tuesday, but I took yesterday off for the Marathon) morning grocery shop, I ran from sun spot to sun spot inbetween patches of shade through...
Boston Tea Party, the crazies edition
The teabaggers held a protest in Boston Commons yesterday, and even at 6:30pm there were a few stragglers carrying signs, strolling through the park. For most of the morning, helicoptors were flying over the financial district because Sarah Palin was at the rally. I saw a few pictures from yesterday on The Daily What, and I am proud to say that some Boston locals did us proud with a few...

Grandparent Treasures
Last night I was cleaning my apartment (although, upon entering, you wouldnt guess it today) and I came across all the trinkets that I have collected of my grandparents’ over the years. At this point in my life, I only have one blood grandmother left (Nana), and she has been in a nursing home down the street from my parents for some time now, her possessions long ago surcommed to the divide...
