Here are some pictures of the 2010 River Rat Race in Athol, MA. For a second year in a row, our two teams managed to come in dead last. It took some effort this go around, as there were a few teams that were blind drunk, fighting, and/or very bored that kept us paddling in circles to stay behind.  We still finished triumphant, or defeated, whichever way you want to look at it.  Many thanks to my team mate, Cal, who jumped in to sub for last year’s MVP, Mike “Rusty” Rust.  With Cal’s stellar ability to make the boat go as slow as it possibly could, he might become a permanent fixture on the team for 2011.  Check out some of my favorite pictures after the page break.
